4516-1022 | State Laboratory Tuberculosis Testing Fee Retained Revenue For the department of public health, which may expend not more than $277,917 generated by fees collected from insurers for tuberculosis tests performed at the state laboratory institute; provided, that revenues collected may be used to supplement the costs of the laboratory; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lesser of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate, as reported in the state accounting system |
