4510-0616 | Prescription Drug Registration and Monitoring Fee RR For the department of public health, which may expend not more than $1,029,680 for a prescription drug registration and monitoring program from revenues collected from fees charged to registered practitioners, including physicians, dentists, veterinarians, podiatrists, and optometrists for controlled substance registration; provided, that funds may be expended from this item for the costs of personnel; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate, as reported in the state accounting system |
