Programs targeted to support statewide transportation operations which are shared across multiple programs or agencies and cannot be allocated to specific programmatic areas.


Program

Description
Transportation Central Administration For the purpose of providing transportation business operations that support multiple programs and cannot be allocated to specific programmatic areas. Activities may include executive oversight, developing strategic plans, giving policy guidance, and other miscellaneous support functions.
Transportation Contracts and Legal Services For the purpose of providing transportation contract and legal services that support multiple programs and cannot be allocated to specific programmatic areas. Activities may include general counsel, contract development, document review, claims defense and prosecution, and negotiation and mediation.
Transportation Facilities For the purpose of managing and maintaining transportation facilities, including leased space, that support multiple programs and cannot be allocated to specific programmatic areas. Activities may include property construction, improvements, and maintenance in addition to plant operations and utility costs.
Transportation Human Resources For the purpose of providing human resource management for transportation that supports multiple programs and cannot be allocated to specific programmatic areas. Activities may include hiring, recruiting, training, collective bargaining, employee evaluations, and professional development.
Transportation IT For the purpose of managing and supporting the transportation technology infrastructure including technical support for multiple programs that cannot be allocated to specific programmatic areas. Activities may include software development, application hosting, communication systems, data processing, and security services.
Transportation Planning, Accounting, and Finance For the purpose of providing transportation financial management, processing, and tracking that support multiple programs and cannot be allocated to specific programmatic areas. Activities may include budget development, grants management, transaction processing, financial reporting, and long range planning.
