1750-0102 | Civil Service and Physical Abilities Exam Fee Retained Revenue The human resources division may expend for the administration of the civil service examination program, examinations for non-civil service positions and implementation of the medical and physical fitness standards program an amount not to exceed $2,700,000 from fees charged as provided in this item; provided, that the personnel administrator shall collect a fee of not less than $50 from each applicant for a civil service or non-civil service examination and physical ability test; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate, as reported in the state accounting system |
