SECTION 167.
The second paragraph of section 65 of chapter 143 of the General Laws, as appearing in section 6 of chapter 3 of the acts of 2013, is hereby amended by inserting after the third sentence the following sentence:- The commissioner or the commissioner's designee may waive all or a portion of the $100 per day fine and may promulgate rules and regulations establishing criteria used to determine whether the fine may be waived.
