4512-0225 | Compulsive Behavior Treatment Program Retained Revenue For the department of public health, which may expend not more than $1,500,000 for a compulsive gamblers' treatment program from unclaimed prize money held in the State Lottery Fund for more than 1 year from the date of the drawing when the unclaimed prize money was won and from the proceeds of a multi-jurisdictional lottery game under subsection (e) of section 24A of chapter 10 of the General Laws; provided, that the state comptroller shall transfer the amount to the General Fund; and provided further, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system |
