1775-0124 | Human Services Provider Overbilling Recovery Retained Revenue For the operational services division; provided, that the division may expend an amount not to exceed $500,000 from revenue collected in the recovery of cost-reimbursement and non-reimbursable over billing and recoupment for health and human service agencies and as a result of administrative reviews, as determined during the divisions' audits and reviews of providers pursuant to section 22N of chapter 7 of the General Laws; provided further, that the division may only retain revenues collected in excess of $207,350; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate, as reported in the state accounting system |
