| 0710-0225 | Medicaid Audit Unit For the operation of the Medicaid Audit Unit within the Division of Audit Operations in an effort to prevent and to identify fraud and abuse in the MassHealth system; provided, that the federal reimbursement for any expenditure from this item shall not be less than 50 per cent; provided further, that the division shall submit a report no later than December 1, 2011 to the house and senate committees on ways and means detailing all findings on activities and payments made through the MassHealth system; provided further, that the unit shall engage in a memorandum of understanding with the secretary of administration and finance to develop a system for the recovery of identified funds; and provided further, that the unit shall file a report with the house and senate committees on ways and means no later than February 22, 2012 on the total amount of recoveries identified, actual recovery collections, and any reasons why identified funds were not collected |
