7027-0016 School-to-Work Programs Matching Grants
For matching grants for Jobs for Bay State Graduates, Inc., for school-to-work programs; provided, that the board of elementary and secondary education shall establish guidelines for such programs in consultation with the department of workforce development; provided further, that any funds distributed from this item to cities, towns or regional school districts shall be deposited with the treasurer of the city, town or regional school district and held in a separate account and shall be expended by the school committee without further appropriation, notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary; provided further, that each grant awarded herein shall be matched by the recipient from local, federal or private funds; provided further, that the board of elementary and secondary education may determine the percentage match required on an individual grant basis; and provided further, that no funds shall be expended for personnel
