SECTION 107.
Section 56 of chapter 302 of the acts of 2008 is hereby amended by striking out the words:- "and 5 members to be appointed by the governor; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the bureau of substance abuse services; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association; 1 of whom shall be the chair of the department of psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the trial court; and 1 of whom shall be a representative from the department of correction" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- and 8 members to be appointed by the governor; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the bureau of substance abuse services; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the Massachusetts District Attorneys Association; 1 of whom shall be the chair of the department of psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the trial court; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the department of correction; 1 of whom shall be the executive director of the interagency council on substance abuse and prevention; 1 of whom shall be a representative from the office of community corrections; and 1 of whom shall be a representative from the department of mental health.
