| 2800-0700 | Office of Dam Safety For the office of dam safety; provided, that the department shall, in collaboration with the department of environmental protection and the department of fish and game, establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all dams, and develop a coordinated permitting and regulatory approach to dam removal for stream restoration and public safety; and provided further, that the department shall file a report with the house and senate committees on ways and means not later than December 14, 2009, that shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (a) the number of staff that are assigned from this item and their job title; (b) the number of dam inspections that are scheduled for fiscal year 2010; and (c) the number of dams that are in need of repair or replacement |
